Ambient décor
Enjoy the great outdoors every time you open the door with the Topography décor. These sculpted panels take inspiration from the mountainous contours of Sweden’s Abisko National Park. Using layers of gently backlit perforated materials, the décor takes on three dimensions and bathes the cabin in calming ambient illumination.
Handy cabin storage
Follow your impulses when you’re on the go without cluttering the cabin. The EC40 features convenient hooks, holders, and compartments to store life’s essentials and spontaneous little pleasures.
By relocating speakers from door panels, we’ve created big pockets for you and your passengers to pop bulky items like water bottles and laptops. And we’ve done it without diminishing the high-quality surround sound available in the EC40.
Spacious cargo compartments
There’s room for must-haves and nice-to-haves in the large boot of the EC40. We’ve pushed the inner wheel arches out of your way to make it spacious and wide. An underfloor cargo space and front load compartment under the bonnet let you pack even more.
The large boot is designed to be flexible and easy to load. The flat floor stays flat when you fold the rear backrests to expand carrying capacity. There’s no lip to get in your way when loading bulky items. And when your hands are full, swipe your foot under the bumper to open the tailgate.
Sweeping panoramic roof
Stay connected to the outside world in a private, comfortable space all your own when you drive an EC40. The large fixed panoramic roof stretches all the way from the rear seats to the front seats, giving the cabin an open, airy feel. Let the light in when the sun shines. And at night, stargaze at stoplights.
